According to Variety.com, Carnage, starring Christoph Waltz, Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly has been given a release date for November 18, 2011. It will originally be shown on limited release to New York and LA, and hopefully expanding to nationwide distribution a few weeks later. Carnage is making its premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September and is rumored to be shown in Toronto during the Toronto Film Festival, but this is not confirmed.
Carnage is the story of two sets of parents who meet up after their children get into a playground fight, but find themselves embroiled in a childish dispute of their own. Directed by Roman Polanski, Carnage was filmed over a 12 week period in January-February 2001, in Paris.
A month before, in October, The Three Musketeers in 3D is being released on 10/14/2011 nationwide. It was announced that Django Unchained is due to be released on 12/25/2012.
